Magnetic Rock Trail

3 Miles round trip. Features a majestic 60 ft rock! Bring a magnet with and see if you can get it to stick!

Centennial Loop Trail

Just over 3 miles and traveling through the historic Paulsen Mine site!

Chik-Wauk Museum & Nature Trails

Various trails await you surrounding the Museum. Site closes at 5pm daily.

Honeymoon Bluff

🥾🥾

Short 1.5 mile hike – includes a long staircase – gives a beautiful view of multiple lakes. Perfect for a sunset view.

Caribou Rock

1.5 miles or 7 miles round trip. Sweeping vistas and overlooks. 7 mile route ends at Rose Falls waterfall.

Border Route & Kekakabic Trails

Overnight hiking permits required.

What to bring in your pack…

Bring Layers. Layers are essential in the wilderness, as you exercise you will be able to shed layers as needed.

Bring Food and Extra Water. Ensure that you have enough and a little extra for your planned outing.

Check-in with Someone. If you don’t have anyone from your party staying behind, then let your onsite host know where you are going and how long you expect to be gone.

Keep within your Skill Level. There are some trails that will be more challenging than others.

Bring Means to Make a Fire. Just in case.

Sun Protection. Sun screen, long shirts/pants, hats, and sunglasses

Wear Sturdy Shoes. Our terrain is rocky. No need to risk an ankle.
